Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of nohow.ai software and services. By purchasing a license, you agree to these terms.

1. License

nohow.ai grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to deploy and use the software within a single AWS account. Each license is tied to one deployment. Additional deployments require additional licenses.

2. Permitted Use

• Deploy the software in your own AWS account
• Upload your organization's documents for AI-powered search
• Embed the chat widget on your own websites
• Customize the widget appearance and AI behavior via the admin console

3. Restrictions

• You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the software
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the CloudFormation templates
• You may not use the software for illegal purposes or to process data in violation of applicable laws
• You may not remove or alter license validation mechanisms

4. Your Data

All documents, conversations, and data processed by the software remain in your AWS account and under your sole control. nohow.ai has no access to your data. You are responsible for the content you upload and for complying with applicable data protection laws.

5. AWS Costs

The nohow.ai license fee covers the software only. AWS infrastructure costs (compute, storage, AI inference, data transfer) are billed directly by AWS to your account. Typical costs range from $30-80/month depending on usage. You can set monthly usage caps via the admin console to control costs.

6. Payment

License fees are one-time payments. Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change for new purchases. Your license is perpetual once purchased — no recurring fees for the software itself.

7. Support

Lite tier includes community support. Pro tier includes priority email support. Ultra tier includes a dedicated onboarding call and priority support. Support is provided via email at [email protected].

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, as the software runs on your AWS infrastructure and depends on AWS service availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

nohow.ai's total liability is limited to the license fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

10. Tier Upgrades

To upgrade from one tier to another, you purchase the higher tier license and deploy the new template. You pay the full price of the new tier. The previous deployment can be deleted or kept running.

11. Termination

Your license is perpetual. However, we may terminate it if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the software from your AWS account.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to new purchases only. Your existing license remains governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
